Thoughts? wondering if this would be worth the buy?

I use mine all the time and have never had a problem with it! I like the app that keeps track of my whole family’s temp and symptoms. I would definitely buy again or give for a gift.

I have this and while I like it, I find the ear thermometer easier to use. The stick thermometer requires the use of an app, thus not allowing it to be easily used by someone other than myself. The ear thermometer can be linked to the app, but can be used as a stand-alone and is very quick. My 6 year old loves to use it and knows and loves the faces and different sounds to denote a good or bad temperature.

I have it and we love it!!!! Hands down awesome and when my kids are sick they actually enjoy taking the “quiz” and keeping a record of how they are feeling to share with the drs.

Yay! Thanks for sharing your feedback, Jenn! 😀

Using the Kinsa app you can have a “folder” for each person. It keeps a log of the temperatures. I haven’t used it in a while but it has a bubble game the child taps to pop the bubble while it’s taking the temperature. I have only used this orally and under the arm on a teenager. It has no battery which is a plus. I personally love this thermometer. I have confidence the Kinsa temperature is correct. In the past I’ve had a hard time reading the mercury thermometer and I’ve tried an ear thermometer with mixed results.

Have it and love it. Our kids loves to see Elmo in the app. Will probably get another one

    Love mine!

Amazon has a 25% off coupon right now for this as well so it makes it $10.95 shipped.

    • Jessica (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks so much for sharing Kirsten, I just added that to the post! 😀

What happens with best buy orders one doesn’t pick-up? Bought this on bb this morning after collin posted before a better deal was listed hours later.. I know events change, but wish she acknowledges a better deal became available after many of her readers purchased a more expensive product.
She used the same comments from the original post…a different post should require a new set of comments.

How do you get the amazon coupon?

  9. Obler

This does not work with my iPhone 7. The adapter that comes with the phone does not allow the thermometer to recognize it. Too bad because this was my favorite thermometer. My son would pop the bubbles and keep the thermometer in his mouth long enough to get a reading.

How do I clip the 25% off coupon?

  11. Dorothy

I am having a hard time finding the coupon as well

    • Jessica (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi Dorothy, looks like the coupon has disappeared now, sorry for the confusion! I have just updated the post!

  12. Dee

Hello, I’m not seeing the $25 off coupon…

    • Jessica (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Unfortunately the coupon is no longer available, Dee! Sorry about that!
