I’m not sure if it was this exact model but my mom had a similar looking LG for less than a year and had to have it repaired multiple times until finally they wouldn’t fix it anymore and sent her a check to buy a new washer:

I never take the time to leave comments- but when I saw the post with my washer and dryer, I had to weigh in! I have this set… dryer is great. Washer literally leaks at the seal every load! I would never recommend it!

I have this set for about 5 years. I like it. My washer does not leak and never has. You have to keep the door open as with many front loaders to avoid it getting musty. And i dry the rubber seal after my last load when i do the wash. I would recommend this set.

Thanks for the feedback and helpful tips Elisa! Good to know!

I hated my washer so much that when it finally needed repair, I paid the repair man $119 to call my husband and tell him it was going to cost the same as a new washer. I bought a top loader to replace it. Love the dryer, it is still working great. The softener dispenser quit working properly after 1 year and the smell was horrible from the mildew that accumulates in the front loaders. I will never own another one!
