Be very careful buying appliances from sears considering they are closing many stores and probably all together soon enough. If anything do NOT purchase your warranty offered to you by sears…..decline and call the manufacturer and purchase one direct if you want one. Learned my lesson.

Wow, sorry to hear that. Thanks for the information about going directly through the manufacturer.

Sears is a pain with appliance warranties anyway. I had a really negative experience several years ago when I purchased a Maytag fridge from them. Between Sears & Maytag, we heard every lie imaginable.

I do not buy anything from Sears. We bought a freezer when visiting my parents out-of-state during Thanksgiving and decided not to pick up because we have no vehicle to pick it up. When we went to our local TX store, they had transfer the sale back to the LA store where purchased was made. We called the store but was told to go there in person to cancel. I went to the store one year from purchased and was told nothing can be done now that it is over a year. Sears kept my freezer and my money. I contacted headquarter but they cannot refund or give me a freezer bc it’s over one year.
