I have this one and hate it. My son will not keep his arms where they need to be. We have no problem with our graco nautilus. 4 kids and several different types of seats and such. This one is the worst.
Darn! Thanks for sharing how this seat has worked for your son. Sorry to hear it has not worked well in comparison to the others you have used. 🙁
I have 2 of these! And LOVE them!! And even better, the kids love them!! Our only issue with them is that the seat is huge. And you gotta love how easy their latch system is too use!
Good to know how large they are and that the kids have liked them so much! Thanks for the great feedback!
we have this also. we have had 4 kids and tried many types and brands of seats. while Britax was my favorite and the easiest to use, i have no complaints about this Evenflo Symphony. it is a wide seat, so in our van it’s no big deal, but if you had multiple kids in the backseat of a smaller economy-sized car, it takes up a bit too much room. (so it’s more difficult to get into the back of our Prius, and makes it hard for another child to sit next to it.)
our Evenflo has held up well and wiped up nicely. fabric and straps and other materials still look bright and newish. i like that it can recline with a lever in the front-facing position if my 3-yr-old falls asleep while we are in the car.
Thanks so much for your review Rebecca! We sure do appreciate it!
We had this seat (keyword “had” bc we no longer have it anymore, good riddance) and hated it too. The belt started to fray in less than a year and they said there is no way to replace the belt without replacing the whole seat and all they could offer us was 20% off retail (keep in mind their warranty is only 90 days and we were about 6mos in, so past the warranty). We only use Britax and Diono car seats now and have been very happy with them instead. We even had a part on our Britax replaced after 2yrs and they did it quickly and easily with no issues for free including free shipping.
Oh bummer! Sorry to hear the belt did not hold up well 🙁 Thanks for sharing your experience Hana!
I have this 1 and we LOVE it!!! 😍 Latch system is great!!! It is so much easier to transfer into fanily members car! Downfalls is the cup holders- band doesn’t hold drink well and yes, it seems wider than our Graco brand seat… I would totally buy another but my husband wouldn’t be happy with me buying any more seats (he would rather transfer what we have).
