It doesn’t cost anything! You get to do the whole experience ie heart, birth certificate etc. The only thing you pay is if you want to get clothes or accessories. ….
Do you know if there is there a time limit to that you have to take the unstuffed bears in to the store? Like, if I wanted to order bears now for my twins for Christmas, would I have any problems getting them stuffed six months later in December?
No limit as far as I know. I took one in today that I bought a year ago and they were more than happy to stuff it for my daughter. If you order on line keep the tag on the ear.
Yes, free! I did buy some clearance outfits online too. (Separate order so I could use the discount twice). I know the kids will want outfits. This way I get to control how much they cost.

Yeah, that’s often the case when they run these specials. I contacted CS once bc I ended up with a stuffed animal unexpectedly, and they said I could take it to the store and have it unstuffed. I didn’t actually try though.

I ordered three this morning. I actually lucked out and got two bab gift cards last month at a garage sale of all places! She sold them 50% off because her kids got them as gifts and don’t want them. So I paid with shipping a total of $17 of my money for three different build a bears, two of which can be filled in store.
