I ordered one of the during the lightening deal. It had such amazing reviews indeed. Unfortunately, I shipped it back yesterday as it really didn’t do anything special for my cast. My stainless steel scrubbing pads get the gunk off so much easier.
Bummer! Sorry to hear you did not care for it. Thanks for the honest feedback Anna!
I had the opposite experience-got it for around $7 and love it . Hoping it goes on a good sale again to get for some family
Glad to hear how much you have liked yours! Thanks for sharing!
I love this thing. I hated using my cast iron because it was such a pain. Now it cleans up so easily; I use it so much more often.
How cool! Good to know how well it has worked for your Chris! Thanks for the great review!
If I didn’t have three of these I would get another. Aside from the obvious, my autistic son uses one as a fidget toy. He finds it very comforting.
Happy to hear how useful these are! Thanks for sharing!
This is really awesome. I have one and my cast iron has been in great shape ever since.
I think the reason it works is because it cleans off the gunk while leaving the film of grease behind. If there’s too much, like after frying bacon, I just wipe it with a paper towel.
My pans used to need a little heating then oiling after cleaning (even with water only) but now they don’t – they keep that sheen without any additional care.
Sweet! Thanks for sharing your experience!
