I still think that it will be lower than .25 cents. I also purchase notebooks for my students as well.
If you have a Menards near you, their notebooks are free after rebate- limit of 10.
What rebate
The rebate is a merchandise credit. You mail it in and they send you a credit in the mail. My husband shops here a lot so for us it works.
I never get my school rebates from menards.

Same here. We constantly use their rebate promotions without issues. They come in the mail like a postcard.

spiral notebooks are $.19 each at Smiths ( Kroger affiliate).
Is it only wide rule? My Wal-Mart seems to have only those, but I need college. They were always the same price before.
Shopko has them for 17 cents each.
Seems like not that many years ago they were $0.10 each, then they creeped up a few pennies every year. This is the biggest leap because last year they were $0.17 each. Target also has them for $0.25 each. I have always kept track of the price because I buy a bunch every year for my business. Can’t wait to see the price next year.
Kroger had them for 17 cents when I was there Tuesday. (We live in Tennessee).
Only 17 cents at Frys stores in AZ also and they have 4 different colors for the covers and wide or college ruled.
