It is very cute! We had it for our youngest at the time he was five and he loved it. Be sure it is compatible with your phone or iPad. Also we accidentally threw the carrying plate away but still had a lot of fun with it.

what a great day…my daughter wanted a coding toy, but our ipad is so so old, an ipad 2 so most of the new coding toy apps will not work with our version of ipad. there are two aps for this robot and one of the the aps actually works with the ipad 2. The one that is compatible is the Codiing mip ap not the plain mip ap. There are some good videos on YouTube and some comparisons between this toy and others. The ones I watched were between the sphero and bb8. Generally most said that this toy was better.
