I bought these for my best friend for her bday last time. they took forever to ship but finalky they arrived. they are super high quality and so worth the 53 dollars. I was a chef in a former life and taught cooking classes at a high end retail store and we sold these knives in the store. the large chef knife sold for around 100 by itself. if you take care of these knives and do not allow them to soak in the sink or run them through the dishwasher they can ladt you a lifetime
