FYI…I tried this earlier today and was told staples will not march toys r us prices.

Didn’t crayons used to be 25 cents?
I did this earlier and they matched it. My girls needed 6 pack total and I also bought 2 four pack expo dry markers. I also priced match those $3 each I paid $8.58 total.

My local Staples gave me a hard time saying “the 110% price matching doesn’t apply to back-to-school offers”. He did end up 100% matching, but emphasized that he made an exception and no other cashier could override. Later, calling customer service confirmed that Staples doesn’t price match “special promotions or events”.I am grateful for the deal idea from your site though, but am I wary of returning to Staples.
