If you are looking for any Jansport bags on a tight budget, I recommend looking in stores such as, TJMaxx, Ross, and Bealls. They sell their Super breaks for only $19.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Great find Jesse! Thanks for sharing!

I’m not getting the 30% promo code to work on Jansport either. Anyone else having issues?

    • Nicole

      It worked for me!

      You’re welcome Jaime!

This is a good deal on High Sierra backpacks. My daughter needed a larger one then the standard size. She had to carry a 3 inch binder for 3rd grade last year, from room to room. Believe it or not in her school they already switch classes in 3rd grade. Well, don’t have to buy a new one for 4th grade because it made it through with no tears, rips or holes. That is carrying everyday with a 3 inch binder in it too! It also washed well too! I have found a backpack that will hold up to lots of wear and tear. We will continue to buy High Sierra for years to come, when needed….

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome to hear how well it has held up! Thanks so much for sharing your experience Kerry!

Last year , or was it two years ago..,they had this sale and it combined with a $10 off $50 home coupon. These jansports were considered “home products”.

totally off topic but i can only get the post by grid view did it change?????????/

    • Michelle

There should be an option at the top to change it to the old way.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Becky! Sorry for the confusion! We did switch to grid view only for a bit, however classic view is available again 😉

I just bought the High Sierra Access backpack for $29.99 at Marshalls, a full $20 cheaper than what Kohl’s is selling it for. Earlier in the year I saw them even cheaper at Burlington when I was on the road but there isn’t one close to me.

    • Kerry

I bought my daughters for $16.88 last year. Then no one else seemed to have them. Kohls prices can be higher. I do not need a new one since hers is in great shape. Thanks for the post though. If I do I will try those other stores first, maybe getting a better deal. I love Kohls, but sometimes I have also found a product cheaper elsewhere. You have to do the math with the coupons at Kohls, to see if it is a good deal or not. Somethings are and some are not…..

I’m surprised by how many reuse backpacks yr to yr! I had to have a new 1 each yr simply b/c it was too embarrassing to have the same 1 even if it was still in great condition. I feel bad for my mom who had no support with us now!
