GRADE k-2 seriously?? Lol.
Oh k through 2 — my bad 🙄
It says you need to have an educator account with a verified school in order to qualify for this deal.
Oh that’s too bad! I’d go for it without a blink!
Has anyone purchased these 50 book packs before? How much variety is there in the books sent? I have heavily considered this deal before but was afraid we would just end up with multiple copies of books we already have.
I am a teacher and when they do this, it is usually the books they sell for $1 in their catalogs, easy readers, themed books, or books from previous bundles that didn’t sell. I’d say I usually only have 2 to 4 already.
I found that you get a lot of “seasonal” books, and like Katie said, ones that they put on sale for $1 in their catalogs, but not always. Last time I did the K-2 I got a lot of fall, winter, spring, Valentine’s day, Halloween type books. There were lots of others too, but I actually liked the seasonal books, so that we could spread the new books out throughout the year at appropriate times.
Too bad only for teachers. I’d buy a k-2 set. Love magic school bus, which cost about $5-6/book by itself. I had recently ordered 5 of them. Great deal if you can get it.
I have bought these collections several times through a teacher- they are great books. Usually the 1.00 books in the flyers. But GREAT for birthdays and teacher gifts if you have duplicates.
Sweet! Thanks for the feedback Stacy!
Teachers, do you know if we can use Scholastic Dollars (from book fairs) for this?
I was wondering that too! It would be good for classrooms giveaways and prizes for students.
You cannot use any rewards gained through the book fair for these bundles.
This is off-topic but I just recently found out that Books-A-Million has a FREE educator card, available to teachers & homeschoolers! You get 20% off most educational purchases online & in-store & free shipping online as well! I applied online & got my card in the mail in about a week.
What a cool find! Thanks for sharing Rebecca!
Anyone ever gotten the 5-6 collection? Wondering how the older kids books would be. Looking for chapter books mostly.
I ordered my collection 3-4 and when you check out it ask you if you are a teacher. But it also gives you options like homeschool, which I do. When I placed my order it said I would have to wait for my school to be verified before purchase. I just ignored that and went back into the teacher account I created and checked out. The order went through and has been shipped. Not just for licensed teachers.
