Love it!!! I cashed out May 20 ..Since June 1 I am back up at $48. Been with them for almost 2 years and I love how the surveys are usually short and you get $3.

Love pinecone! I get a few surveys a week and they are so easy, yet fun! I’ve also gotten a few samples!

Pinecone is my favorite survey site! I joined in May, and I’ve made $24 so far. Planning to let it keep building up, then cash out in November or December for a little extra Christmas shopping cash.

Off topic, Lowes had 10% off for 2 days only, ending 8/12/17!

    • Liz G

Forgot to add, it’s for cardholders only!

  2. Laura

I still like Pinecone, but am sad as they changed their format and I hardly qualify for any surveys anymore. I used to make a reliable $12-$15 dollars per month with Pinecone. Now this has dwindled to half of that if I’m lucky and the qualifying surveys are slow. Sad as Pinecone was my favorite!

    • Carrie

Same for me! I barely get emails now too

    • B

Same here – I enjoyed them because they were not like the other survey sites. This change was not for the better!

    • amelia

I’m the other way around. I actually qualify for almost every survey and this past 2 months I have saved up $70 I’m making about $35 a month.

      • lattelaura7

What? That’s awesome! Tell us your secret?🙂

        • Holly

I seem to be getting more too, but once in a while “don’t qualify,” which is weird for Pinecone. I’m getting 10+ a month instead of the regular 3 or so. Also, I can only find them in my emails, they no longer show up in my Pinecone account on their website. And they take a long time to load. Don’t know what the secret is about qualifying, I’m a typical 34 year old SAHM of 3. Live in Idaho.

        • amelia

I have no idea I get them in my email about every other day and most of time I qualify.. I have gotten a few where it says sorry your profile doesn’t qualify but its rare. I am a typical mom of 4 kids..I’m 29. I dkn what it consists of but I really like this new interface on the old one I was lucky if I got 2 surveys a month.

    • Rita

I used to get excited to see the emails. I have qualified for one. I feel like it’s all about where you live. When I enter my zip code I get the “there are no surveys available at this time” message.

  3. lisa

I will get to what seems like the end of a survey now and it will tell me I’m not qualified and not get anything from it.

    • SAM

Same thing happens to me. I feel like im wasting my time.

  4. mimi

The site says it unavailable after I qualified…

    • natasha

      Same here……

      • lattelaura7

It is too bad, they were my last survey company that was decent. I started out with several back in 2009, but have quit them all over the years. Valued Opinions, Opinion Outpost… by the wayside for me. It feels like Pinecone may be going the same way. Hopefully not.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Darn!

  5. David

The last few weeks I have qualified for everything after a dry spell.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience David!

  6. Xochitl

Thank you. I have tried signing up every time i see it posted on here but it unfortunately never qualified me to register. Finally today it said I qualify and let me sign up. Hopefully i will start receiving surveys soon.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yay! You’re so welcome!

  7. Melissa

So what happens with your info if you do not qualify?

  8. MAC

They are not what they used to be. Now they insert a router process than literally can take 15 minutes before they find you a survey you can take using their previous format. If they can find one for you to take. Get disqualified much more frequently now at times which never happened before the insertion of the router process. Sadly, I no longer give them an A++ as a survey company. More like a C these days.

    • lattelaura7

      MAC, my sentiments exactly!

    • Lucas Bennetts

Same here, I just recently “resigned” from Pinecone. They would send an email for a survey, make me do a pre-survey that took about 5 min, only to tell me i want qualified. It would “search” again and the process repeated. Pinecone used to be the best survey site, now its just annoying.

    • Amy

Yup, I feel the same way! I don’t even bother opening their emails anymore. I hate wasting my time where before I was guaranteed $3 for my time and now it’s not even worth trying. I wish they didn’t change to this new way!

  9. lattelaura7

They said that people were asking to get rid of the pre-screener surveys, but I much preferred those to what they’ve changed it to.

    • ditto!

I actually wrote them about the issues you all have mentioned. I too used to enjoy taking these, but the new process is so time consuming just to see if I qualify! Not worth the time anymore, unfortunately.

      • lattelaura7

Did they respond to you? If so, what did they say?

        • ditto!

No they haven’t but I sent it yesterday so we shall see if they do!

  10. AnnieL.

I agree with alot of the comments on here. The new process is time consuming and annoying. I havent opened their emails in two months. The new way is terrible.

  11. Tammy

My only “problem” with Pinecone is the new routing system. It sometimes takes 2-3 minutes just to get from one screen to the next which can be a little annoying when I’m in a hurry. I qualify for some & don’t for others but I’m okay with that, after all this site is free to use & they do have some interesting (if sometimes long!) surveys, so the ones I do get to take are just icing on the cake! I do have a question though…I’ve got quite a few points added up & have never “cashed out”. If I remember when you go to cash out it ask for the “quantity”. I know you get $3.00 per survey so are they asking how many quantities of surveys you want to “cash out” for? I’m just old & confused I guess! I currently have 17,500 points so if I want to cash out what do I put in the box? (For instance if I had 600 points, that’s two surveys at 300 points each = 600 points, so I’d put 2 in the box? Sorry for the long & probably ridiculous question, but again, I’m old & can’t wrap my brain around this! Otherwise, I’m grateful for the extra money that costs me nothing but a little time & patience! 😊

    • Angela Moretto

Just divide the amount of points you have by 300 and enter that amount in the box. so if you divide 17500 by 300 you would have 58 with a remainder. Put 58 in the box 🙂 58 x $3.00 is $174

      • Tammy

Thank you so much Angela! Really appreciate you taking the time to respond! 😊

  12. Jessica

I actually prefer the new method. I like how they come directly to my email because I’m more likely to catch it instead of always logging in. Honestly, I’ve gotten a ton more surveys this way. I’ve only been disqualified from 1 survey.

  13. Annie

Now I feel REALLY silly. I thought it’s been the same router survey for awhile now so I just delete. I don’t see in in my available survey column when I log in. Oh boy will have to start completing again.

  14. Lisa Dykes

I love pinecone, I put it in my checking account, it’s a great way to earn money

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome to hear that! 😉 Thanks for sharing!
