Of subject, but where can I order some
Of the eclipse glasses!? Legit ones!?
Amazon. Also check your local library!!! Many are giving them away for free
I just called and they are all out! Thank you for the suggestions!
I live in Michigan and called everywhere!!! Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Kroger. Ran into a lady at Walmart who said her optometrist had ordered a bunch. Maybe give some local optometry offices a call?
I’m sad to say we probably waited too late and most places are seriously gouging… like $30 for a pair. Look up ways to make your own viewer, there are tons of tutorials online. Pbskids has instructions for a shoebox viewer. I’m going to make it a fun project with my daughter. You can even look through a leafy tree and get enough protection. NASA and pbs kids has a lot of info
A leafy tree is not protection from looking at the sun. That’s extremely dangerous advice!
Pansy… I didn’t make up the tree thing, it’s on Nasa’s website. I didn’t give the full directions on it, just directed the original poster to a couple of reputable websites that offer alternative ways to view the eclipse. The leaves of a shade tree create a natural filter. The whole glasses thing to me is silly, there are safe and approved ways to view it without glasses.
Sweet!!!! This is on my Christmas list!!! Thank you!!!
Glad you can check it off the list! You’re so welcome!
Have this toy. It’s great. Got it as a hand me down from my sister’s kids and it still works. The only thing about it I’m not crazy about are the weird looking dolls but that’s not a big deal. My kid loves pushing the doorbells and attempting to use the key. I might buy this as a gift for Christmas for someone.
Thanks for your review Naomi! We sure do appreciate it!
I got this when my oldest daughter was into opening keys and now my boys love ringing the doorbell. I didn’t love the dolls either but great toy house.
Says the doll house is $25 😕
Darn!
I don’t see that price 🙁
Oh bummer! 🙁
So sad! Put in my cart for my little guy who does OT figuring this would help with his fine motor skills, but my phone died and by the time I went back onto purchase it was back up to the original price. Bummer
