  Ideal for living in a cold climate areas. For example I was gifted a cashmere sweater. Never had I though I needed one for your reason above. Whoa baby was I wrong the Softest Warmest sweater I have ever had, probably Like this blanket. The up keep of spot cleaning is worth the reward. Kind of like Annual plants, super pretty, lots of up keep, only to have to start from scratch the next year. Worth it to some, not to other. 🙂

  I am not a fan of dry cleaning, either (and if you hadn’t pointed it out, I wouldn’t have noticed because it is weird to dry clean a throw), but I’d be willing to bet that it could be machine washed on gentle. Many items marked dry clean can be machine washed with no ill effects. If I didn’t have three Target fur throws that I *adore* I would be very tempted to grab this one. I’m not into the fur look but I am usually cold (even living in the South and infrequently using AC) and the fur blankets help regulate my body temperature better than other blankets, sweaters, and layers have. I want this one, too!

  My husband’s Ralph Lauren down coat says dry clean only and I have always just washed it at home, and thrown it in the dryer. Just cause it says dry clean doesn’t mean you have to. For that price, I’d chance throwing it in the wash.
