It is a 99 cent store, but especially around the holidays, they get in some higher priced items. I love this store – they have several grocery aisles, and most of the produce (including organic berries! ) is also $.99!
Lori- Yes!! They have the BEST deals on berries!! As well as cherry tomatoes, and Sara Lee 45 calorie bread for .99- it is easily $4 at the grocery store. I love this store! They have super cute decorations for every holiday. Sometimes it is hit or miss, but for the most part if there is one near you, you should check it out. – I’m in Texas and there are 2 in my city.

The store is called 99 Cents Only but about a year ago they started adding items that cost more than $0.99. I believe that about 97% of the items still only cost $0.99 and the items that cost more than that are clearly marked on the package. I think these stores are only located in the Western United States. There are some great deals to be had including Dole and Fresh Express pre-packaged salads for $0.99 that still have at least a week before the expiration date on them. I generally steer clear of the frozen items because I bought them before and I believe they had been allowed to thaw and then they were refrozen.

Check out eBay. I have a 99 near me, the manager says eBay sellers come in and buy up the lot and resell online.
Check amazon. I saw a mega block minion advent calendar. It looks like the one in the picture.
We did this last year. It was a big hit with my kiddos!
