Plus, while supplies last, all kids will receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin upon completion of their project. Awesome!
Does anyone know what ages?
We did the fire house coin bank last month and my 5yo could do it by herself with little supervision. My 3yo wasn’t having any of it. I saw kids as old as 12 there. So I’d say 5-12 is a good range. Not sure if it’s just our Home Depot, but we had very little instruction/involvement from the staff (other than handing us the kit) they relied on the parents to read the step by step instructions and help their child.
I bring my two which are 2.5 & 4 yo. They say 5 and up but ours doesn’t mind. It is just more parent involvement 😉
My four year old thought it was fun we could do it together. Sooo glad I didn’t bring my 2 year old. I don’t think it would have been worth it. Saw a lot of struggling parents with strollers and baby carriers. I say leave the little ones at home. Lots of parent involvement, good parent/child involvement!! Can’t wait to do this activity!!
My 3 and 5 year old love these. We have to help both of them, but the projects are pretty easy. It usually takes us about an hour.
I signed up my 5 yo and almost 4yo for the firehouse coin bank last week. It was good daddy time with them building together, daddy isn’t the crafty at all so this was a good opportunity all around. Thanks H2S team for posting things like this. 🌺
