I’ve read here many times that CVS deals start on Saturday after 5 p.m. I decided to give it a shot and was told that all though the sale prices were in effect on Sat. evening my store does not issue Extra Bucks until Sunday. Has anyone else had this experience at CVS?

    • CJ

I just left the store because I was only planning on partaking in deals most of which were supposed to generate EB’s.

      • Momof3

Doesnt start until Sunday and today is Thursday

        • CJ

I did know it was Thursday when I posted and that the sale doesn’t start till Sunday. I was merely inquiring about other peoples experiences shopping at a CVS during an early sale activation. I found it strange that my CVS activates the sale prices early but you can’t earn the ECB’s early – kind of defeats the purpose of activating early in the first place. Who knows though, maybe that was just the line the cashier “fed” me when my ECB didn’t print.

          • Cindy Carter-Mohrbach

My CVS store will usually manually print me an ECB if it doesn’t generate automatically- if it is suppose to- especially on Saturday evenings when the new deals begin. I think it depends on the store and how they want to accommodate their customers- not sure what corporate policy states though.

    • Ibetht

I think it depends on the store. I have two Cvs’s near home. One usually activate Sunday offers on Saturday around 4pm and the other one hours later.

    • Stephanie

I have found that my cvs that is open 24 hrs does not activate until midnight but the one that closes at 10 activates at 4 or 5. However it may depend on the store too.

    • Jackie

It’s up to each store as to when they want to activate their ad. The ad cannot be activated before 4pm on Saturday (we manually activate it in our store system weekly and 4pm is the earliest the system will allow).

    • sri

My store does early activation at 4pm and I had no problem with extrabucks printing.

Is anyone else having trouble printing the coupons for the Dial bodywash???

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Darn! Have you been able to try a different browser? Hoping that helps!

    • Caryn

I was told to clear my browser and try again – it ended up printing

  3. gailio

Thx for the early heads up!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welcome! 🙂

  4. pam

I get this message on two different browsers
Either the requested page has been removed or the address entered is incorrect.

No worries, just head back to the homepage and all will be forgiven.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Bummer! I am seeing that now as well. 🙁

  5. srglory

what browser do you need to use. I was able to get the one for the mens body wash but for the other 2 it says “Oops! The page you were looking for doesn’t exist.”

  6. Kim

Why on earth don’t 2/5$ deals ring up for 2.50 each? I’ve gotten hosed out of so much on B1G1 coupons at cvs

    • Mel R.

Totally agree. HATE the way the 2/for deals ring up now. And then if you buy a 3rd item, it rings up the full price, you don’t get the sale price either like at Wags or Rite Aid.

  7. Ashton

If I were to do one of these deals that earns ECB can I continue to do that same deal multiple times on the same account and keep earning the ECB?

    • jane

the offer states “LIMIT 1” so you can only receive ECB 1 time.

  8. Lel

Why does the persil $3 coupon have a limit of one? Is that cvs policy or coupons.com?

    • Mel R.

it’s the limit on the coupon. if you want to do the deal with the $3 coupons, you’ll have to do them in separate transactions.

  9. Mel R.

Thanks. But just an FYI, the $2 Persil q in the upcoming 10/22 RP, is also LIMIT 1 Per Shopping Trip. Best to buy 2 bottles, use $3 IP and $2 insert in one transaction, then do another transaction with the other 2 bottles. Also, ck your CVS app to see if you have the $3 Persil digital manuf q to clip. My plan is

    1st transaction – $14.82 for 3 bottles, use $3 IP, $2 insert & $3 digital = $6.82 – $5 EB = $1.82
    2nd transaction – $4.94 1 bottle – $3 IP = $1.94. Get $7 back!
    That’s $3.74 for 4 bottles!!

  10. Kathy Householder

On the CVS Scope deal: There is a $1/1 CVS App Coupon. Using the App, .50 printable, .50 Ibotta and $3 EB the Scope will be free plus small MM.

    • Mel R.

the $1 Crest is a digital manu q and will not stack with the $0.50 printable.

  11. Toni

I am new to this. What is SS and RP?

    • Leng

SS=SmartSource and RP=red plum. These are coupon inserts in the Sunday paper
