I wanted to get the Clairol Color Crave which also has Ibotta and EB but CVS regular price is so darn expensive. They had it for 10.99. After the cash back two bottles are $12.98. For a wash out color, that is pricy. This root concealer is a better deal!
CVS is a joke unless you have coupons, a sale and Extra bucks. I scan the items with my Wal-mart savings catcher app and they’re routinely 30-40% more expensive. I don’t know how they can justify this. What really irks me is that many elderly people shop there because they are already picking up their meds. They are getting ripped off and they don’t even know it.
Drug stores are a convenience store at the front end, with limited shelf space, that’s why they’re priced higher than the big box stores. Many elderly people don’t want to travel to WM or Target for things they can get quickly at CVS or Walgreens, since they’re pretty much on every corner. They don’t have to deal with parking, walking a huge warehouse and lines. So they don’t care about spending $1 or more. Of course, we all know the best way to shop is combine sales w/coupons & extrabucks.
Agree…
This stuff is amazing!!!! Completely covers the gray and stays til you wash your hair.
Thanks for your review! I use No Gray Quick Fix (it’s like a mascara wand), and it’s okay. But I have to put on several coats to cover the gray, and at that point the roots start looking a bit oily. Definitely want to try this!
What happens if you get stuck in the rain? Honest question.
I could love to try but scared to get this stuff on my clothes.
I got a free sample of this, I hated it! Makes my hair stiff, and if your hands are even a little wet, and you run your hands through your hair, it comes off on your hands! I couldn’t wait to wash it out!!
Amen Sister! I am desperately trying to grow my roots out to see if I want to go lighter to help combat my grays and My finger nails are constantly coveted in brown from this and the loreal version. It never rubs off on my pillow case, but I’m only spraying the top of my head so maybe that’s why.
I am a stylist ,The powder stuff is amazing at not only covering grey roots but making thin spots in your hair look thicker! I don’t like the spray it feels sticky and crunchy. I recommend this to all my clients 🙂 hope this helps anyone!
I have a love/hate relationship with this product! It works great in a pinch (no time to color roots), but makes my hair feel dirty and comes off on my fingers if I scratch my head. However I also got a $6 off 2 from magic coupon machine, so I paid around $3 for two cans! Would not pay $10 for one can though!!!
