I ordered from mattel.com last year about this time, a month later I called customer service because my invoice was showed as printed for over 3 weeks but still hadn’t shipped. They basically told me it was going to be shipped, I pointed out that my order had been printed in the warehouse and could sit there for another month for all I knew. I ultimately just had them cancel it because while the shipping was like 4-10 days that was only after the items were shipped and they could give me no answer as to when that would be.
