On the fence? See what other Hip2Savers have to say about this Roaster Oven…
I bought one last year and it cooks spectacular! Had some seriously yummy turkeys and hams cooked in that thing!😋
I’ve had this for years and love it! Never thought about baking a cake or muffins in it though, I’ll have to give that a try.
We always use one for the “extra” turkey at Thanksgiving.
I have a roaster, not this one, but they are excellent for the holidays. Keeps the oven free for items that bake in less time. The turkey comes out crisp and evenly cooked. This one has a lift out pan which I envy. That’s got to make clean up a dream. I’ve baked cakes in mine, cornbread, rolls, and other dishes after my oven starting stinking from a cleaner I used incorrectly. I really do love it for the turkey at Thanksgiving and how it keeps the house a little cooler and the turkey juicy.

This same one or very similar is $59.99 at Kohls. Assuming it’s still on sale tomorrow, if you’re a kohls cardholder it will be $31.99 after 30% off & $10 off $25.
How do you get 10 off 25?
No, actually it would be $35 as kohl’s apply dollar discount before percentage discount. 59.9-10=50, then 30% off , that’s $35 plus taxes.
Good catch!
They will offer $10 off $25 tomorrow for Veteran’s Day.
I found an even better deal at Wal-Mart for $29.99. It doesn’t have the self basting feature but for the few times a year we will use it I’m ok with that.
Could you provide the link?
Ordered one last time and my lid was all dented up
Oh darn! Were you able to grab a replacement?
I had to do a refund and I didn’t bother trying to reorder 😕
I got the 18 yesterday for $25 shipped… also a great deal there was a $5 coupon.
Great score Kim!
I have a GE electric roaster similar to this. It’s great for ham & turkey. I’ve also cooked cakes and pies in mine.
Sara does a new sale start tomorrow at kohls? I want to get this .
If the food cooks in less time . . .how do you know when the food is actually done? I understand for a turkey putting a meat thermometer, but how do you prepare/plan of how much time it will actually take?
Purchased this while stationed in SK. Loved being able to cook a huge turkey to share with friends and family. Great memories of thanksgiving!
How neat! Good to know it worked well for you DJ! Thanks for sharing!
My mom gave us one of these about 12 years ago. We only use it on Thanksgiving and Xmas but it is still going strong. We love that it keeps the oven open for everything else. The turkey stays really juicy but we do have to put it under the broiler to crisp up the skin.
Oh cool! Awesome it has held up so well through the years Suzanne!
This would help free up oven space. Thanks!
Yes! It does! You’re welcome!
I just borrowed this from my friend because I am doing the Bone Broth Diet and my crock pot isn’t big enough to hold all the broth ingredients. I’m so glad to see a sale so I can buy my own! I roasted the bones in it before I added the water to make stock, and they got nice and browned. I haven’t used it to make a turkey, but I can attest that it works great as a giant crock pot! 😊
