Just a heads up, I ordered the Hawke & Co last month for my daughter and the product came ripped. I personally was not impressed with the material on the coat, It felt quite cheap. But my daughter loved it, so I called Macy’s and they sent me a replacement and that one came ripped as well. I sent both coats back and I’m still waiting for my money back.

Yeah, if you can’t afford anything else, I get it, but these coats are pretty cheap and crappy. They are low price for a reason.

I got one last year for my 10yo & it’s still decent this yr. It depends on many factors on how the wear n tear will be.

I love the Hawke and co I had bought for my very tall then toddler and she has used it for 2yrs. Never been impressed with a coat so durable and comfortable like this one before.

We’re from Florida so I agree! I got my 8yo daughter one from Macy’s last year when Hip posted a deal and sized up a bit so it will fit her again this year. She calls it her “puffy marshmallow” 🙂 I can’t comment on whether it’s great quality but it’s cute and keeps her toasty and should easily survive the dozen wears it will see before she outgrows it.
I’d love to see a great deal on warm-ish jackets that are a bit heavier than a regular hoodie but not this thick. My daughter has a habit of losing her jackets at school. She has already lost one hoodie this season (a week after I bought it for her) so I’m hesitant to “invest” more than $10 which limits my options, otherwise I’d get her a nice fleece jacket from Lands Ends or something similar.

Not related to coats, but related to Macy’s: Three weeks ago, I bought the Shark Navigator vacccuum when it was on sale for $99, and thought I got a good deal. Yesterday it went down to $78.99. I called and they applied the difference to my credit card! Other stores are selling for $102-$110.

The jacket deal I got here last year for my daughter is horribly shedding the polyester fill from inside. Her jacket is always covered in little strings of this stuff. I feel like by the time winter is over half her filling will be lost. I got it on Black Friday last year and it was too big so I held onto it for this winter. Not sure if it’ll be warm enough for our WI winter either. And the fabric seems thin like it could tear easily. So we’ll see. I can’t think of the brand off hand. I’ll check when she gets home from school.
Not to be a bummer but this deal was posted a few weeks back. I bought the pink one with the fur. It came in and was beautiful. I had ordered a size up and once zipped it was ridiculously snug. Decided to read the reviews and all complaints were the same. Returned to the store.

What about purchasing some nice premade iron on transfers and putting them on a shirt yourself? You can often get shirts for $2 -$3 at Michaels with sales or coupons. Stickers by Stephanie is one etsy store that has some cousin iron transfers for $3- $10 depending on size. (Not affiliated with her, just did a google search). Walmart has a cute iron transfer too.
I make these shirts! I can make them for you. You just let me know what you want on them. I’m sure I can do it for pretty cheap!!
I bought girls Rothschild jacket last year when this same deal was posted. No complaints regarding the jacket.
I bought one of these on sale last year and it lasted only one winter and is now ripped. Not impressed with the quality at all.
