Just wanted to get some advice concerning the Ring doorbell. I realize this doorbell does not have a camera, but thought this might be a good place to post. I was wondering if anybody has the ring doorbell and did u buy the other camera and lights???”
Glenda,
I have many friends who own the Ring doorbell as a stand alone unit. The original Ring doorbell didn’t include cameras and such.
This seems like a great buy for those that live in apartments without door bells. I recently had my instant pot delivery stolen. I wonder if my package would have been stolen if had a doorbell like this.
If you have parents living in assisted living, this would be great! Would be great for college students dorms doors as they can be removed. If I wasn’t planning on leaving my current place, I would totally buy them.
My parents have one similar to this and they love it
Thanks for sharing! Good to know they have been pleased with theirs!
I bought one from Amazon that was advertised a few months ago. It rang loud and clear about ten times and then quit. This particular one just had one push button only and one bell which plugged into the inside electrical outlet. I have always had bad luck with anything ordered from Amazon, stale coffee, sewing machine with wrong plug — just sayin.
DARN! Sorry to hear that Mona 🙁 Thanks for sharing your experience!
We purchased this set when last posted just the bell no camera and it works excellent very loud and easy to install literally took me 5 minutes. Fyi the sound boxes do have to be plugged in and are a bit large used on bottom outlet and hangs down a bit and still have use of top outlet.
We just bought this last week. We use it dor my disabled dad. He has the button, and my son and I each have a receiver in our rooms. It makes it easier for my dad to call us at anytime.
