could someone please advise what READING level these books are?
I bought these as a learn to read set for my kindergartener. It was too advanced for that. I ended up buying the BOB book set, now that she can read those, she can now mostly read these (minus the pinktastic type words.)
Was wondering as well! Thanks!
I think the book says PREk – 2nd. I agree with the previous person – a little too advanced for the prek/k. Cute books though.
Yes-be aware that these type of “readers” are typically WAY too advanced for a beginning reader. It’s quite deceiving since they advertise them as a learn to read type of thing. As a former teacher and homeschooler, I recommend the Bob books to start from the very beginning.
Thank you for the advice in the comments! My daughter has come home with books like the ones in this set and felt discouraged when she couldn’t read a lot of the books. I looked up the BOB books and those look perfect for my Kindergartener!! She is slowly learning a handful of sight words and it getting better at sounding out other words. Thank you!!
Wow, the set was a deal!
