Are we able to buy gift cards with a Best Buy giftcard we already have?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

No. Here is what I found listed in their details on gift card purchases – “Best Buy gift cards cannot be used online to purchase another Best Buy gift card.” Hope that helps!

Can I use these e-gift cards in store?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Yes!

So I got a best buy gift card from the survey site. But Now that I think about it , I’d like to give it as a gift, but don’t wanna give an email link for a gift. Do u think if I took the info in- store and ask them to transfer it to a plastic card that they would do it??? They have some really cute cards and I would much rather give one of those. I hardly ever buy gift cards

    • *Angela-Miles*

I know you aren’t allowed to buy a best buy gift card with a gift card, but rather wondering if they could do some other kind of transfer method or something :-/

    • Jennifer

I’ve done that in the past without issue.

    • AOhio

Best way of knowing is to call the store and ask. So many stores are willing to do it, would be surprised if they didn’t

Thanks for the reply Jennifer and Aohio 🙂 . I called my store an he said he could probably do it, gave me his name and said for me to request him because some cashiers were stricter than others. I went and he did it without problem., whoohoo. Thanks again
