I bought my daughter 2 LOL Surprise dolls for her stocking and I was very disappointed in them. I watched YouTube videos before purchasing, but the quality was lacking to me. The clothes did not close all the way around the doll, is that normal?
I felt the same way, with all the hype around them I bought one for each my girls stockings. My 7 year old knew what they were from YouTube videos and was interested. Both girls opened them and we were very disappointed in the contents. It was discarded and I was so happy I bought with kohl’s coupons and only paid a couple dollars each. We never would have made it through one of those big ones
Yes, that is the way the clothes are. I think they are way overpriced for what it is. My daughters have several of them because they just have to have them but they are all now in a bucket in the basement. For them it seems to be the thrill of opening them and then that is it. They want every new one that comes out but I refuse to buy them anymore. It may be worth the money to others if their kids actually play with the dolls.
I have found this also to be true with the clothing, but my daughter has seen the videos and she is so happy to have these dolls even if the clothes don’t close around them.
My daughter said she did not want any of these, but I bought her one anyway because I thought she would love it. She received one, which I bought from Best Buy, and now she is obsessed and wants to go to the store and get more LOL! I actually thought they were pretty cute and I can see why kids like them.

I did an ins tore pick up for these yesterday…My 2 girls ages 3 & 15 just opened the big surprise ball this morning they got for Christmas…Now if I could just get the new Confetti Surprise they would both be super excited!!!! P.S. my 15 year old loves this just as much if not more than my 3 year old…lol

These are so fun! I got my niece(10yo) one for Christmas & she loved it.
Not sure if it was this season ones but my Target was restocked yesterday. They had little sister, regular LOL, pets, and my dd got a glitter one.
My girls love these! They have fun opening them but they play with the dolls all the time.
I agree they’re a little overpriced for a plastic doll but honestly so are most toys.
They play so creatively with them that I will continue to purchase them.

I saw the LOL Pet balls for the same price at Wal-Mart yesterday. I don’t know anything about them but there was a little girl there that was super excited about finding them so I guess it’s a big deal?
