      AGREED!!!

I’d normally agree, but it depends what you do with it. I’ve bought this from Costco before and take it in to the nursing facility where I work. I pass out the roses to residents and they just light up- many haven’t received a flower in years and you’d be surprised what a single rose can do:)

      • Rae

Lovely idea as a gift to brighten the day of many. Really thoughtful! 🙂

    • katie

Well, spending money on ephemeral things is ok if it brings you happiness. If I want to go to a movie with my family, I’m dropping at least $50. At least. For 2 hours. At least the roses will last several days and can be shared with others…

A vase would have made it a better deal. I am not sure I would want to assemble my gifted flower assembly. Plants are also good gifts as they live longer.

  6. Karen

Flowers are beautiful! And the thought counts… But, I agree… it’s like ripping up money and throwing it away. I can do a lot with $50 thanks to this website /)

  7. Erin

I know flowers are so expensive, so I can never justify it to myself, but flowers have so much beauty! I have wonderful memories of the flowers my hubby gave me before children and pictures that I took of each bouquet gathered in one of my memory books!

  8. DSch

Don’t you think this is meant to be shared? You know, a couple o’ hubbies/boyfriends getting together and splitting the cost; then it’s not so bad.
Still not into flowers though. Chocolates, chocolates, chocolates!

    • Rae

      That would be smart!!!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Neat idea! Thanks for the suggestion!

  9. Terri

But if you think about it…eating out to celebrate an occasion is also like ripping money up and throwing it away. It’s just what we all do to celebrate. Flowers at least last a week or two where as dinner is over in an hour and a half! I love both…lol!

Ordered for my Grandmother’s 106th Birthday. She will love them. Thank you!!!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

How exciting and super sweet!! Happy Birthday to your Grandma! Hoping she has a wonderful day!! You are SO welcome Elizabeth!

  11. Brittany

At Sam’s Club 50 roses is only $38.78. You won’t be able to order them until a month out from Valentine’s Day though.

    • Mary

Is the shipping free at Sams Club as well?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Ooh! Great find Brittany! Thanks for letting us know!

    • Beth

Do go in and place an order? I’m not seeing it online.

  12. Luz

Thank you! Finally got around to placing my order! Having them sent to work on the 13th, and bringing in a big bag of floral water tubes so everyone can take one or two. Will make the office festive too 😀 Thanks for the post!

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Fun idea!! You’re welcome!
