Anyone have any thoughts on the echo or echo dot?
Echo has a bigger speaker if you are wanting to use it for music and have decent sound. Our kids have Dots in their rooms. They essentially do the same thing though.
Traci, is there any way to set up child filters for it? My daughter would love having a dot in her room, but I would want to be aware of what music (and other things) she can access from it. She is only 5 so she most definitely doesn’t need one, but she loves ours.
We got both for Christmas. The speaker in the Echo is a million times better than the dot, so like Traci said, if you want it for music, I would go with the regular Echo. We ended up hooking our dot up with a separate blu tooth speaker we have because we didn’t like how bad it sounded compared to the Echo. If it’s just for a kid or for a bedroom that you won’t use for music purposes much, I would just go with the dot.
Thanks so much for your helpful review Kalynn! Good to know about the sound quality on each of these! 😉
