If i need those to get somewhere…. I’m just going to stay home!
We actually visit the snow up in the mountains each year or go skiing, and when it is snowing at the time, the Forestry Service will require chain on your tires in order to continue up the mountain to your destination.
We’ve had a couple of instances where we were made to turn back after the weather worsened because we didn’t have chains.
This is a great deal on nicer chains than the cheapy ones for the same price!
That makes sense. If I needed them to get to work or something I would keep my cold butt at home!
I take it you live somewhere without a lot of snow? You can’t just stay home when you have to work in some places during the winter months. We wouldn’t come out of our house for 5 months out of the year around here living in the snow belt.
Who actually does that? Lol
We had to pull over and buy chains on the side of the highway near Lake Tahoe last year. Should have been a sign to turn back and take the southern route…
These look like fun. I imagine they take an afternoon to attach.
Watched the video. They look a lot easier to attach then the ones we got. I can’t use them in my area but it seems like a great deal. Wish we could
Than not then
Unlike in the South, snow or ice on ground doesn’t mean the world stops turning. Lots of people use these.
Have lived my whole life in the snow belt of Upper Michigan and Northern WI. Lots of folks use these on a daily basis for months as the snow falls can be upwards of 36″ (yes 3 feet) in one crack… Averages of 300″+ annually. We laugh at all the southerners whose towns shut down over a little ice. Guess we are a different breed up here! Great deal on the chains.
