Note that this offer only applies to standalone Starbucks and excludes Starbucks within retail locations, department stores, malls, hotels, airports, hospital and military bases.
Even better, this offer also applies to app reloads meaning that you can reload a Starbucks gift card attached to your Starbucks app and receive 15% back! Note that you cannot purchase a Starbucks gift card and qualify for the offer but you can reload your current gift card on the app and qualify for the statement credit.

I have the offer and it includes language about app reloads (“Get 15% of your in-store purchase back as statement credit each time you use your enrolled Card at Starbucks by 3/5/2018. Valid in-store at stand-alone Starbucks locations and for app reloads. Limit $5 in statement credits.”)
I take that to mean that I can reload my Starbucks app balance using my AMEX and qualify for the cash back?? I wish I knew for sure. A $33 reload would almost max out the offer of $5 back but I don’t really NEED a $33 reload….but the cash back could sway me 😉 🙂
