I got one of these for my baby shower. It always shows that the water is too hot. It’s supposed to light up at 104 degrees. I took a thermometer to the water and it was only 94. Will be using as a toy but not as a water indicator

I found this useless for water temps. It turns white at the presence of any heat in the water…. so it wasn’t accurate. But as Jenn stated above- it doesn’t have a hole so you don’t have to worry about mold!
Got one years ago. Worked for a couple of times or so, then it was useless. The word HOT was permanent, didn’t disappear. It was a good bath toy though.

We have a duck that reads the actual temperature. I highly recommend that type vs the ones that just say HOT or OK.

The temperature thing doesn’t really work. I’ve always heard to use your wrist. If it’s too hot on your wrist it’s too hot for baby. But the good thing about this duck is no hole for water to get in and mold.

My son loves his “duck duck.” Not a great temp guage but a great toy that does not get water in it. Worth the money for a mold-free bath toy.
