Walmart will also release three Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Sets on February 1st, 5th, and 9th. Each set will be unveiled on the day of its release and will only be available while supplies last.

The LEGO deal isn’t working. I clicked the link from here for the classic creative building set + sand plate, and it said it isn’t available. I also tried searching the Walmart website. No luck. 🙁
Got on the computer to have the site ready to get on this morning and try to purchase them and that was 8:30 last night FEB 2nd and they were already sold out 🙁 Guess the early birds got the worms

Just spoke to Wal-Mart phone support. They only had 5 bundles total and 1 person grabbed all 5 at midnight eastern. Next two sales will only have 5 items each.
The person that told you that must have been mistaken they didn’t become available until 8 am EST because I bought 2 at 8 am when they became available but they were gone in under 7 minutes because my friend tried at 8:07 and they were gone.

I checked from 11:45 pm until 1am and it was never in stock. A total of five? Yikes!
We’ve alreasy called 3-4 differwnt Wal-Mart stores in our area (Orange County) and none of them had them stocked in stores or at the sale price! Now my husband is on the ohone with Wal-Mart corporate office. This is nonsense. Don’t advertise something you’re not ready for or wont have in stock!!!
This was clearly marked as an online only deal with limited quantities. Before you get too upset with the customer service people you talk to, at least make sure you’re complaining about the right thing. Sure, voice your complaints that you hate all the hype for a limited quantity deal that very few people will get, but they aren’t to blame that you thought you could get this in store.
I logged on at 12:00 am EST and kept the link open. Nothing was up at 12 so I went to bed, woke up at 4 when my husband got home and still the message of “ Get in stock update” was up so I went back to sleep. Woke up at 10 minutes until 8 am and brought up the link, still nothing. Reloaded at 8 am and it was up and able to add to cart, added 2 ( one for my kid and one for my nephew) to my cart and purchased them real quick. Got my confirmation email that the purchase went through, sent a text to my friend who got on at 8:07 and the “ Can’t update status of item” message was back up then the “ Out of stock, get update when in stock” message was back. Guess they sold really fast, doesn’t surprise me all the bargain web sites and even some news sites have been mass publicizing the information. Just hope I can get the windmill on the 5th and the car on the 9th to go with the house I ordered on the first.

I am so disappointed! From what I can gather, not a single customer actually was able to successfully purchase this bundle. It is unfortunate that a company with as many resources as Walmart can’t actually pull off a successful promotion. I am also disappointed in Lego for choosing Walmart to celebrate their 60th anniversary. They would have been better off just selling the bundle from lego.com. What a scam!
I was able to get one this morning. It “went live” at 8AM EST and was done by 8:01AM EST. So you had to be super fast.
…Limited quantities and all that. Also, if you scroll back through the comments a few pages, many people were able to score the deal last time as well (on Feb 3rd), from one set to as many as 3 or 5 I believe.

I began checking for legoes the very first day they were to be on sale. I made several trips to the local Walmart. The salesclerk told me that they had never had nor were they going to have the legoes. I think W
almart really did an injustice to their customers. I will not buy toys there any more. My granddaughter was so disappointed. This deal has really left a black mark on the Walmart name. I guess when you get so big you no longer care.
