There has been reports on multiple forums in the last week that % off coupons (both email and CRTs) are taking the discount AFTER all ECBs, mfr and cvs coupons have been applied. So be aware and keep an eye on those coupons working improperly!

Does anyone have any trouble with the CVS app clipped manufacture coupons? Several times mine have not counted even though I bought the correct product and didn’t have another coupon on the item. When I call customer service, they tell me that they can’t fix those. Frustrating!

Check the fine print (i) for the restrictions. % off coupons “excludes sale & promotional items, clearance items.” Most of the coupons are: “No cash back. Tax charged on pre-coupon price where required. Savings applied to total qualifying purchase after other CVS coupons & discounts are applied.” Limit of one purchase-based coupon (i.e., $5 off $25 purchase) per transaction. They are cutting down on coupon stacking which is what made shopping there and they ExtraCare program so great!
Yes! It’s so annoying and almost pointless to use the manufacturer coupons in their app because they work so inconsistently.

A store manager told me that if you use a printed coupon for one item and have a clipped one on your card for another item, the clipped one never works. She said she has watched it happen over and over again.
I’ve not had any trouble with digital q’s applying, with the exception of BOGO digitals. For some reason, those just don’t come off and don’t bother with them. I bought (2) 1-Liter bottles of Listerine this past wk. I used 1 $1 insert q and the $1 digital q also came off. Same with Kotex, used 1 $2 insert and $0.50 digital came off for my 2nd box. And sometimes I’ll use an “off 2” coupon and the “off 1 or “off 2” digital coupon will also apply. Like Dove shampoo this wk. My junk paper didn’t have the Unilever q’s, so I sent the $1.50/2 to my card. When I got to the store on Mon, I lucked out finding 1 Sun paper (in tact with all the ads & inserts!) So I tore out the $3/2 and the $1.50/2 came off as well!!
So I think it has more to do with the coupon coding, like when a paper manuf coupon beeps, same thing happens with the digital, it can’t find the item to match to the UPC.
This has happened to me quite a few times. When you contact customer service you have to speak to the cvs.com department (online sales). For some reason, the cvs.com department deals with the app. Whatever didn’t apply, they gave me an ECB for that amount (actually they rounded up because they can’t do cents so if $2.50 worth of app coupons don’t come off, they give you $3). Try that department.
The scrubbing bubbles deal doesn’t work as written. The sale is 2/$5, not $2/$6. So an extra item is needed.
My ad shows 2/$6, so maybe the deal price varies by region??
