I don’t think Comcast/Xfinity is doing this. Can find anything on there website? Maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised when I get home from work to check.

    • Michelle

I just checked my comcast and HBO and Starz are not free. They ask me to subscribe. Bummer ๐Ÿ˜ข

I there! I have Comcast and it seems that many times when they offer a Free Premium Channel for a weekend you need to access the shows and movies from the On Demand feature. Not sure if it is that way for everyone, but it has been available that way for me. Hope that helps!

      • Valerie

That worked for my Xfinity. Thanks for the tip ๐Ÿ™‚

        • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Perfect! You’re so welcome Valerie! Hoping you are enjoying your Free channels!

Thanks for the reminder! We have HBO already (for Game of Thrones mostly lol) but I found a few movies I missed in the theaters on the Cinemax channels that I wanted to see like The Belko Experiment and the new Mummy plus a few older ones I havenโ€™t seen for a while! Yay!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

LOL! You’re so welcome! I have HBO for Game of Thrones too!! Glad you found a few new movies to watch on Cinemax!

  8. Heather

Yea, I like to go thru and DVR a bunch of movies I haven’t seen then watch them later when I have time, Thanks

    • AZinOZ

That’s what we do. We record the movies (if we can find any worth recording) and watch later. We get free HBO with our AT&T/DirecTV bundle, but I don’t think I’ve seen enough good movies that I would ever want to pay $15 a month for it.

OMG. I went thru On Demand a moment ago. Iโ€™m about to watch Wonder Women. Hip hip hooray. Thank you so much!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Woohoo! You’re welcome! I watched Wonder Woman with my daughter! It was really good!

My free ended Sunday ๐Ÿ˜’ got to see a feww movies and DVD some.

  11. Bruce Rauner

Comcast pulled a dirty trick – the HBO channels appeared in the Guide for the weekend plus Monday, BUT not the HD versions, so if selected HBO-E to see Sully , it tries to tune the HD version and says “You must Subscribe, cheapskate”
So TURN OFF AUTOUPGRADE TO HD in Xfinity settings!
