Do they accept bifocal prescriptions at this B1G1 price?
It does appear that there are some options for bifocal. If you click the “features” drop down you can filter out all the bifocals. Hope that helps!
Why do they charge me an “extra charge” for $8.95?
Hi there! Did you uncheck the box for Anti Glare Coating? That may be the additional charge if not.
Thanks Holly, I’ll check it out.
You’re welcome! 🙂
Thank you I have a son who jist started wearing glasses so I’m sure we will always need spears
You’re welcome! Such a good idea to have a backup pair!
What is the 8.95 processing fee? Anybody get around that?
Hi Sarah! I just spoke with customer service via their online chat feature and here is what their answer was when asking why an $8.95 processing fee might pop up.
“The extra processing fee will appear when the Pd is too small for the frame or your Rx is beyond the corrective capacity of 1.50 standard single vision lenses. In both cases, the lab has to do additional work for manufacturing your lenses.”
Hope that helps!
