Is this worth it? Do the books disappear off your kindle once you cancel? Also, are new releases from well known authors included? TIA!

      It’s 99 cents…

        🙌🏻Yaaaaas!

My boyfriend and I tried this for several months and it was not worth it. There is a limited selection of books, and often not popular ones.

    • Kristi

I got it free for two months and I think it’s worth $.99 for two months. I wouldn’t pay full price for it though. Just cancel it when the two months are over.

I have been using unlimited for over a year now. I haven’t had a problem finding books that I enjoy. Not always the newest books, but I usually read between 2-3 and month. I don’t know what happens to the books if you choose not to continue the service. With paying full price, you can only have 10 titles downloaded at once, you have to return them to download a new book.

I would for sure try it at this price. My husband gifted me a membership at Christmas bc he saw several books on my to read list were on there. So I’ve searched and found a good number I want to read to make the most of it. I don’t think I’ll continue it indefinitely, but it seems like the books change from time to time, so maybe it will be worth it to try again after a break.

You don’t get to keep your books – they’re only lent to you. You’re only allowed 10 books at a time, then you have to start returning one to add one. If you cancel, I’m assuming since the books still belong to Amazon they would disappear or be blocked some how.

See what ebook services you can get from your local public library for free first. I have great choices from mine. Also if you are already an Amazon Prime member you get a free new release from Amazon already from a preselected list chosen by Amazon. If you read teen titles and many adults do, check out rivetedlit.com or just google Riveted. Audio book lovers here is an absolute must—-audiobooksync.com

I love my kindle unlimited subscription… have found so many new authors I wouldn’t have found without it. You can checkout up to 10 books at a time and hold on to them for as long as you want.

I had Kindle Unlimited for awhile and yes some of the books were good. However, I’m an avid reader and none of the authors I liked were included. So I was paying $10 a month PLUS buying the kindle books I favored – not a good deal for me.

This is an awesome deal and I ALWAYS find plenty of good books to read. Thank you!

You’re so welcome! We’d love to hear recommendations. 🙂

I LOVE my unlimited membership. I read A LOT of books, some times one every two days, sometimes one a day, and sometimes 3 a day, (you know, instead of sleeping, or silly things like that, lol). I don’t really read the best sellers or popular books, I have a genre I really enjoy, and there are always new books being added. I have found some really great authors, that I adore. At the pace I read, going to the library or purchasing books is impractical. I would recommend looking up some of the books you have your eye on, and seeing if they have the unlimited logo on them. See if there are enough to make it work your while. My American Express card actually had a deal a couple of months ago, a one year membership for $80, you just had to pay up front. I have Netflix for the hubby and the kids, and Kindle Unlimited for me! 🙂
