Does those seem fishy to anyone else? Overpriced with a crazy high coupon, no reviews and out of stock
Does this
I was thinking the same thing. Also…how would you clean the inside of the straws? At least with the plastic ones you throw them away after a couple uses not having to worry about how to clean them. The plastic is bad for you though….
They sell brushes specifically made to clean stainless steel straws. So hopefully the cleaning shouldn’t be an issue. Besides they’re more environmentally friendly than constantly throwing away plastic straws.
Pipe cleaners!! They are great and inexpensive to clean straws with. Like the craft kind. A whole bag of pipe cleaners will last me a few years. And if you have a thicker straw, just use 2 pipe cleaners twisted together for more girth when cleaning with dish soap.
Yep. And if you look at the seller’s other items, they have the same MO.
Just wondering if it’s safe because it’s an amazon seller/shipper? I also noticed they have a lot of products listed around $19 with a $17 coupon.
This is sold and fulfilled by Amazon. So what’s the issue?
got chills all over my body when iread this, eating or drinng out of anything metal gives me the willies.
Also how hard would these be to keep clean? a great price those for those who like them.
Comes with a brush which is really what I want for my coffee mugs
I echo other comments. How do you keep them clean? I am definitely not a germaphobe, but this gives me the willie’s!
i put mine in the dishwasher, and rinse lightly after use if it won’t go in the dishwasher immediately.
I am so afraid of knocking out my front teeth with a stainless steel straw! I won’t use them.
Ordered mines! Thanks!
You’re welcome Donna!
Not ordering these but we LOVE our stainless steel straws. They are cold at first but you get used to it and we have had no issues with keeping them clean. We hand wash them with the brush. I do not put them in the dishwasher because I have thoughts of small bits of food getting lodged in them. We use our straws daily and have tall ones for our Tervis tumblers.
BTW look up the sad facts about how many millions of straws go to landfills everyday to sit there forever. Some of our friends and family say they would like a straw but only if we have reusable ones. They refuse plastic ones.
I bought mine at our grocery store for $4.97 for 4 with the brush.
Silly question. But where do I find the coupon to click on? I don’t see it anywhere when I click on the link above. Thanks!
never mind, found it! 🙂
Where did you find it?
I actually searched for the page for Amazon Coupons. Found the coupon there and clicked it, added item to cart and it added the coupon when you got to checkout.
Ordered two sets for 8 with coupons, thanks very much.
You’re very welcome Grace!
Added item to my cart as per Amazon, and still am not seeing a coupon. Least expensive I see it is $4.99 with Prime.
It appears that these are sold out at that price.
You can still place an order and they will notify you when they’re available.
Ordered my set. With tax added the item came to $3.06. I had a $3.07 amazon reward credit so I used that also and will now get the item for free! Always a good thing! Thanks!
I can see my little ones cutting their mouths on these…sigh.
Only available now through other sellers. Strange thing but the high value coupon is still available! Odd because you’d think if Amazon was out of stock they’d no longer offer the coupon. Which leads me to think they might restock it again even though there’s no message saying they are expecting to restock it again. So I loaded the coupon, just in case.
