Does this taste any different from regular chicken broth?
It kind of taste a little bitter & definitely something to get used to. Personally I add a little bit of regular broth, along with some extra garlic and/or onion seasoning. Then you can slowly do less as you get used to it.
I haven’t tried it!
This sounds really convenient and fast. On the other hand, I buy chicken quarters at Walmart for 70 cents a pound, put three our four in a pressure cooker, and get great chicken soup. After one hour, I let the pressure drop and stir it well to let the bones separate. Then another two hours and the bones are ready to crack easily. Another hour or so and the soup is ready. Onion, garlic, thyme, basil, and salt (I use pink Himalayan) give it good flavor.
