I’m new to Audible. What all do you get with the subscription? I saw it say one free audiobook a month and access to some podcasts. Is that worth the monthly fee? Is this different than downloading free ebooks from the library? Sorry for the basic questions.
I have some books that I want to own and listen to over and over again. These I buy on Audible, plus if I own them on Kindle they typically are discounted. Amazon Prime members also get exclusive content and books that can be streamed for free. I get books from the library too, but I love my Audible subscription.

We love our Audible account and my kids recently asked if they could have “Alexa” for their rooms (to listen to books, alarm clock, ask questions, play games…) and I told them I’d think about it. BTW, I started a Customer Service Chat online with Audible, and she simply canceled my current membership and had me start a new membership via the Promotional link. Very simple & easy, and I kept all my old books. (Though if you have credits, use them first so you don’t risk loosing them, then you’ll get 12 new credits immediately). My $50 credit showed up immediately in my Amazon account as well.

BTW, I was able to chat with Customer Service online to cancel my current membership and then signed up again with the promo link. Very simple. Be sure to use your credits so they don’t expire before you do this.
