Just to let you know that this bottle sweats!!! It is not double insulated so when you put ice into the Kanteen, your hand will freeze and within minutes the bottle will have tons of condensation on it. I have to use a bottle cozy to prevent my hand from freezing and getting wet. It also only keeps beverages cold for about 90 minutes.

About 8 years ago my family made a commitment to not use plastic water bottles. Since then we’ve been on the hunt for the best water bottle out there! We used Klean Kanteen for a little over 2 years. Unfortunately, they lost their temperature within about 5 hours. Additionally, my kids are all into sports, so they brought these with them, they were so easily banged and dented! Even though the Hydro Flask is a bit more pricey (or you need to watch for a sale), I think they are well worth any cost! They keep my kids drinks cold for a full day of sports, plus the regular bumping of the bottle has caused very little damage (we’ve been using them for 18 months now). Kleen Kanteen is a great alternative to plastic water bottles, that being said, if you want something tougher, to keep your drinks cold longer, I would go with the Hydro Flask!
