If you are unfamiliar with this coupon book, $10 is definitely a “try me price”. I would give it a whirl. I live in AZ, my book is over 500 pages, and I love it it that it’s good for a whole year. The thing I really like about the book is that it brings attention to restaurants and merchants that I never knew existed. I find it entertaining and informative. And for that, I think it’s worth the price of admission.

The thing about the Entertainment book is – if you only use it once or twice, you get your money’s worth. It’s useful for things like emissions test and oil changes, or learning about new local places you would not normally have thought of trying. If you keep it in your car, sometimes you just need a coupon spur-of-the moment and you aren’t at home to look up deals online and print it out in advance.

We take advantage of these deals and purchase the Columbus OH book every year, it really pays for itself after the first use!

I live in Saginaw and the books are crappy. But I travel to Detroit a lot and their books are worth it. A lot of the coupons are buy a meal and 2 drinks and get a second meal for free. Basically if you use one coupon, it pays for itself so I would say try it.

I’m in the Dayton/Cincinnati area. I got one last year when they went to $5. It doesn’t seem like there is a lot in there anymore but I definitely got my $5 back. They did have a 10% off Kroger coupon. Columbus may have more offers than my area.

I use to live in Columbus and just the Fazolis coupons I got my $ worth 😊. It won’t go to $5 til end of summer, where you’ll have less than 3 months to use it (I did this last year when we moved to Tampa). Can’t beat $10 and you get to use it for 10 months!!! Plus now they have mobile coupons too so double the coupon. Definitely pays for itself!

I am in Columbus and buy several of these each year. I have a family size of 6 and we use a lot of the coupons. To me they pay for themselves after using 1 or 2 of the coupons.

If you stay in a hotel, it will pay for the book. It’s for people who eat out, and go do stuff in your community often. When we used it for a hotel we were out of town and just gave them the number on the card and it took 50% off.

Hello. Can anyone tell me if there are any coupons for oil changes, the synethic oil kind? My oil changes cost like $50 each time because the car needs synethic oil.

There is a website now, dining advantage, apparently run by this same company. They have some very good coupons, you have to buy them though.

There are 2 options, book or online. Does anyone know if they offer the same coupons? Which one is better? Also, when I pick my location will I still have coupons for deals to hotels and entertainment in other places? I’ve never bought this so it’s a little confusing. Thanks so much

bought these books for years now. we get the paper book which comes with online access, the online coupons can be same coupon as printed book one or different. it’s a nice mix.
today, TOPCASHBACK is offering 20% back too, SCORE!

      • ree

if you use the online coupons, it generally expires within 2 weeks tho, i don’t like that aspect.

Does anyone know if this book is beneficial in the San Diego area?

    • rebecca

click the link in the post. check the dropdown menu of all cities to see for yourself. once you go to your city, check the example coupons available and see it you like it.

    • Miranda

San Diego is one of the thicker coupon books!

  5. Stefani21

Can anyone tell me if one of these cover the gatlinburg/pigeon forge area?

    • rebecca

use the link and look up your city. it’s probably faster to check the website and see if it’s offered for your city than to keep checking back here in the comments to see if someone answers you.
plus, if they have your book, you can see their example businesses offered before you buy the book to see if it’s useful to you.

From time to time they offer the online digital app via Groupon for really cheap. I used to buy the books but it limits you on what’s available. I have the app and it covers more areas than the book has. For instance I was in Memphis,TN this past weekend and checked the app for deals on food in the area and coupons popped up as well. Basically it pings in on whatever area you are in at the moment You then just show your phone to the establishment and they press redeem. I love the app.

Does anyone have any input if this would be helpful for our Disney trip? We are flying to Orlando and staying at Shades of Green for 7 days and will be spending a lot of time at Disney, but then moving to another Orange Lake resort in Orlando for 5 more nights. I am not looking for fast food coupons or hotel coupons, so not sure if this would be useful for our trip. Any thoughts?

    • kayti

We only used a couple of coupons. It was actually cheaper to use Groupon!

Can I purchase a book for my home city and still have the option to use the online coupons for other city’s while traveling? I’d like a book to use at home but would also like the option to use coupons while on vacation in another city. Thanks

    • Miranda

Yes, if you download app it allows you access to online coupons available in your vicinity.

I got one last year for West Michigan and thought it was kind of a busy!

    • Amanda

I live in west Michigan as well. So would you say this book is worthwhile?

  10. Leslie

I used to buy these books but stopped because when using some coupons, some of the staff would give attitude. Why do they place coupons if they don’t educate staff or be nicer when redeeming. If we used a restaurant coupon we always tip on what the original amount would have been. Just my experience.

  11. riss

And if you like dining out in real restaurants, this may not be for you. At least in my area. They mostly have fast food options.

  12. Candydealba

I got one of the books last year and the very cool thing about it – when you buy the book and get the online access it gives you coupons depending on where you travel! It’s amazing and had NO idea this was available. I live in Tennessee and visited Utah and Wyoming and pop up alerts would tell me if a coupon was available! It’s truly amazing !!! I also bought it when it was on sale for $10 so I def got my moneys worth!

  13. heidi

Candydelaba is exactly right. We bought the book for 10.00 in California and went to KS. and had the app on the phone and up pops up 2 coupons for the town we were in at a local place we love and always go to when we are there. You will pay for the book in usually one or two visits.
