Any idea what time this will launch? I was able to purchase last week the items I wanted at 4am but wondering when it actually goes live.
I’m pretty sure it’s 3am EST. I am a touch obsessed with the Oplahouse stuff, so I set an alarm for 3am last weekend and was able to order everything I wanted from that line. By 9am some of it was sold out, so I was glad I did!
I snagged the lilac small backpack during the red card launch and I’m pretty disappointed with it. The straps are weird and it’s just an odd size – hangs funny on my back. Quality seems on par with target brand things. I’ll be returning for sure. So sad, I wanted to love it!
I’m glad I’m not the only one. I bought the small lilac and the large yellow. I want to love the yellow so much but it hangs weird. I do love the tote bag I got last week. I wish I had bought 2.
Good to know! I was eyeing those over the tote.
I would sell it on ebay – I saw a few large book bags for double the price. I decided to keep mine because it fits my work laptop perfect.
Shucks! I am waiting for my lilac order to arrive this weekend. Darn…well the plus side is that it was free shipping and returnable. Thanks for your honest reviews. 🙂
That is interesting because I love the size of the lilac tote. It fits my 13 inch Macbook air perfectly, doesn’t hang weird on my back and the straps are very sturdy. It has a tiny side pocket that you can hide keys and money, and a magnetic closure which I love. I thought it just flapped and closed. I find the yellow one a little big for everyday use but will keep it for weekend road trips. Lilac will be for daily use.
Ugh…I hate when stuff like that happens.
I’ve never tried hunter boots before. Can someone pleez explain what the rave is all about?
The name. That’s all. They are rubber boots, not any better than the cheaper brands to me.
Stars wore them to muddy music festivals and then everyone wanted them.
I have had a pair for quite some time. I use them for my garden and for boat work. I’ve only had the originals but I will tell you they are more than worth the money. I don’t want to believe that so for year I bought cheaper one. They leaked and cracked year after year. The Hunters do not. I’ve had mine for 8 years now and I’m still in the same pair and use them a lot. But I’d never spend it on my kids being they could not get that time frame out of them. I wouldn’t think the Target Hunters would be of same quality for the price they are selling them. I didn’t buy mine for the status.
They’re just high quality rain boots. Like, they’re much better than normal Target/Walmart brand rain boots, I think the soles are comfier, and they’re less heavy but still very sturdy. That being said I don’t think they’re worth the full price considering how much you’ll probably wear them each year. However they will hold up from year to year, so over time they would be, but it’s a big initial investment. I got mine secondhand for $20 but otherwise I would have had to wait a lot longer.
The best way to describe is the hunter boots fit like a glove on your feet. They aren’t wide look other rain boots. Once you own a pair you wouldn’t want any other brands.
They’re pretty well made, I live in Florida where it rains a lot and these have held up well and my son has a pair that fit great and have lasted well into hand-me down cousins and all. The quality I believe is what makes them so great.
I was wondering about the launch time too. I wasn’t able to get either of the items I wanted on April 7th because when I checked at 1am the red card launch items weren’t available yet, and then when I checked back at 5am the items were sold out.
Such bad reviews on the boots. If u want a quality material just snag the Hunter boots when their on sale or avail at ur local wholesale club. I remember seeing them at either Sam’s or Costco last yr.
Agreed! These aren’t REALLY Hunter boots. They’re cheaper “Hunter for Target” that seem to be lower quality materials — the reviews on these cheaper things are not good. Wait for Costco to get the real Hunter boots in — very thick, last for years and years. These Target things described in the reviews sound like they may be thinner, cheaper mass-market boots that look like the real thing, but aren’t the same quality.
For those not familiar with real Hunter, take a look at this pic — the thickness of the sole, its tread and the overall “heavy” look to the construction:

Now compare how puny and cheap these look in comparison — they look like cheap rain boots:

I agree! These are not the true Hunters that we invest in for our kids. I bought my (adult) pair off of Costco’s website and they are like new almost 4 years later. I am actually glad that these Target “Hunters” look totally different, handles and all.
I know Robyn! Wouldn’t want anyone confusing those who paid twice as much! 😳
Exactly 😉
Yes, anything ‘for Target’ isnt really an original. Thanks for all the feedback, guys!
Any idea how boots run?
If I wear a 9 1/2 would 9 or 10 be better?
They said to size up
Based on a size chart I saw on a Facebook group the 9 is 25.5cm and the 10 is 26.4cm
I can’t take the chance so I am getting a 9 and 10 and will return the one that doesn’t fit well. I think I will also get a pair of the short ones if I find the tall too uncomfortable. I haven’t worn Hunters for a long time and don’t know how they will fit my current calves.
Awwww crap – tall rain boots not available. They are on manuf delay.
This was posted on twitter:
But first, an update: For guests eyeing the women’s tall rain boots, unfortunately they are delayed and won’t be available in stores or on Target.com when the collection launches. We apologize for any disappointment and we’ll share more information when we can. In the meantime, get ready to shop more than 300 items across this limited-edition lifestyle collection, including other styles of women’s footwear.
I saw the women’s tall were delayed? Anyone know when they will be available?
I hope the quality will be good!
Another Target epic fail launch. No tall boots for launch and no word on when they will be available. The tall boots came in wide calf- which is great for all of us with athletic calves. The half zip down the back make them easy on and off.
Easy! Just ordered in 5 mins! 🙂
Awesome! 🙂
It’s now live on target.com. Just ordered a few things!
Done! I got everything I wanted! Bags booties and thermos!
Woohoo! Glad to hear that Jessica!
Perfect! Ordered everything I wanted through topcashback for extra savings.
Also used👚🛍 my employee and red card discounts
Darn, the lanyards, wallets and key chains are in store only. Those would be nice little gifts for kids. Oh well, not fighting a crowd for those. I imagine they will go super fast. Got my booties and my coozies though!
Wow! I thought for sure this would be blown up already – not the case. I didn’t need any boots, but my kiddo does and I was able to snag those along with many other items to try. Other than the boot delay – this seems to be one of the smoother launches in a long time 🙂
I know the tall boots are delayed but i wanted the abstract print tall boots and when I refreshed the page it said ”product not available’. though all of the other tall boots say delayed. Any idea what is going on with this pair of boots?
It’s 6:30 am and everything is already sold out. 😕
Not in-store.
The stuff is not cute at all
I really don’t get why everyone is raving about their products. I agree with you, definitely not cute and am not a fan lol
Right? I scrolled through the products this morning, to see what the hype was about, and I didn’t see anything I felt the need to drive literally 5 minutes (or less, if I hit a green light!) down the road to look at. I’m sure the stuff is someone’s style, just not mine.
I just decided to do a quick review of their brand and product. I was looking for the return policy and this is what I copied off of Target FAQ .
What is the return policy for this collection?
Hunter for Target has a 14-day return policy versus our standard 90-day return policy. REDcard holders will receive a 14-day return policy plus an additional 30 days.
Hunter is my maiden name so I got a couple of coozies to gift my brother & dad. Inexpensive personalized gift. Haha!
I live in Seattle where Northface and Hunter are the norm now. Because its all transplants occupying the city, home growns don’t fuss about the rain. But on a side note, why would you want the same pair of boots that don’t breathe for 10 years, sounds smelly.
Sister was just at our Meridian Target and said it was fun to watch all the people grabbing the Hunter stuff.
Not in our store. At 2pm it was still full stocks. Customers were not interested at all.
Still wondering when, why and how it was available online. I don’t live in a city with a Target store and all I learned was that there was no shipping available!
It went live at 3 am. Many said most stuff was sold out by around 6 am. I got on around 9 am just to see if everything was pretty much gone, and it was except for in store.
I don’t get all the hype. But hey guess if you got time on your hands and cash to burn, Ok. I like Target but don’t fall into their hyped launches.
I don’t get it either. At first I was excited but then whenJ got to the store I was very disappointed. It wasn’t impressed at all. The quality and style of the shoes look cheap at all. Even some of the tote. The clothes is okay. But really, it’s not worth the money. I thought all the items are gonna be gone and wipe out by the time I get there at 2pm but I was wrong. It’s full stocks and there were no customer looking or buying it. Yes, they look great online but not in person.
