Sandals and candles, you always know what to say to get my attention 😄

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      LOL! 😉

I got a tiny bubble blower today and water beads at dollar store. Made sensory boxes today

    • Cindy Bee

What part of the store did you find the water beads?

      • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi Cindy! I think I have seen those in the Craft and floral section of my store. Hoping you find them on your next trip in!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Too cute! I found a bubble blower at my store last week! Happy you could score one!

IMO, I really wouldn’t purchase flip flops at Dollar Tree. I wear flip flops all the time and whenever I buy them at Dollar Tree, they break within 2 weeks. I don’t think they are worth the money. I rather buy them at old Navy for a bit more.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Bummer! Sorry to hear they have not held up for you Myrah! Thanks for the honest review!

I bought the Dollar Tree flip flops to wear in the shower when we’re camping and they stuck like crazy to the tile, making it pretty awkward to shower. My theory is that the soles aren’t as firm as most flip flops so it created suction 🙂

I love the flip flops at dollar tree. I should’ve bought more last summer and I regretted it! I’m a size 11 and they fit so nicely!!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing Carrie! Good to know how well they have fit! I haven’t tried them yet, but plan on grabbing a pair soon!

  5. Thrift

I buy a pair every spring & keep them on my back porch to slip on every time I run to mailbox or do a little outside work. They’re pretty worn out when cold weather rolls around in NC, but last months! Love them and all the colors they come in😊

Getting a few for my friends bridal party ..its a beach wedding so affordable diy thanks .

  7. Jane

I bought this flip flops last year, I still use them , they are great 👍

I’m the flip flop queen and I will buy the cheapest clearance flip flops everywhere 😂 …but Dollar Store ones are really terrible (although they have the cutest summery patterns, which is a bummer). I bought a couple of pairs last fall, and they are too squishy/don’t have enough structure or stiffness to them. You can feel everything through the bottoms. I actually had to chuck mine on a day trip because the bottoms of my feet were getting sore and the soles had flattened so much. Also, I don’t drag my feet, but I was constantly tripping over the front toe because they’re too pliable. They are good to keep for quick errands and such, but definitely don’t suggest wearing them all day.

I feel the same way. I tripped over the toe of the pair I had a few times Lol…it was in public and I laughed it off like I’d just landed a triple axel or something by throwing my hands in the air ha ha ha 😉 . I only use these dollar tree sandals when I’m at the beach now, to go from the hotel out thru the sand and back.
