Date Night at the Book Store For Less than a Buck
Sent from reader, Kate:
My husband and I frequent the local used bookstore on date nights to check out their used vinyl records. We always try to outdo one another by finding the most hilarious record cover, which is pretty easy to find with the vast selection of 80s and 90s records. We also score some awesome deals on vinyl records!
The classical music vinyl records tend to be 25¢ or 50¢. Records that they deem “scratched” are marked down so crazy cheap, but they play perfectly fine. Christmas records are usually under a dollar, unless it is around Christmas time, and they mark those prices up.
My kids just love the super cheap records I buy of old Disney musicals and other children vinyl records. I really love that I can find vinyl records the whole family enjoys and it is usually just 25¢ per record!!

I recognize those stickers. Those look like they are from McKay’s Used Books.
Haha, I was thinking the same thing! We always swing by there on a date night too, a trip without the kids is always a special event!
Interesting idea and great price but my goodness I would have no means to play a record!
