Buy a salt system to go with it. It won’t turn green and you don’t really need chemicals. We have used our pool for 5 years with salt. When we used chlorine it was awful. It turned green so quickly. we shocked it, chlorinated it regularly, it was so hard to keep up with.
We have a similar pool (larger) and we have a salt system in it. Left it up all winter with no issues. We also have that ball but larger 6ft from sams $25
