We don’t have this exact sofa, but we do have an Ashley sofa that looks to be made of this same fabric and color that’s 2.5 years old. It snags on EVERYTHING… even the velcro from my sons cargo shorts pockets. If you have pets the pet hair gets stuck in the weave of the fabric and it’s VERY difficult to get out. Also, our sofa cushions started to look awful after about 1.5 years. We flip them regularly but you can tell where people sit most often and the spring on two of the cushions is popping up so that you can easily see and feel the bulge on the cushion. We won’t waste money on an Ashley sofa again… our 2.5 year old sofa looks like its 10 years old.
I agree, Amanda. I have these. The fabric ages very fast. Snagging is a huge problem, even with the velcro from my daughter’s shoes.
We have this exact set. Within a year the cushions have started to loose their firmness. The color is great but stains rather easily. Truth be told within a week, we had to have them come repair the frame on the sofa and 6 months later, replace the loveseat for a broken arm. Which appeared to be a manufacturer break. What has “saved” us was that we bought the warranty so it’s all been covered. But in less than a year we gave been given both a replacement sofa and couch. But we bought them through Ashley. It’s been annoying and a bit of a process but I’ll never not buy a warranty on furniture again. It’s crazy because we are not rough and tough on our furniture. So all the breaks and what nots seem surreal.
