I would like to give Starbucks codes to whomever would like to have them. I am completely sickened by Starbucks and their so called mission to stand up against discrimination. I visited a Starbucks just this afternoon and was greeted by an employee screaming at me for daring to pull open the unlocked door. She screamed “NO, NO, NO, WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF SERIOUS TRAINING. It was very startling and upsetting. I get home to view an email from Starbucks that states “FOR SEVERAL HOURS THIS AFTERNOON, STARBUCKS WILL CLOSE STORES AND OFFICES TO DISCUSS HOW TO MAKE STARBUCKS A PLACE WHERE ALL PEOPLE FEEL WELCOME.” Well, I don’t. Thank you. I called earlier and the representative was very sympathetic but it still doesn’t take away the sickening feeling. I find it to be highly ironic to be treated so rudely during their so called sensitivity training.
It’s no reason for them to treat you like that. Maybe you can reach out to the store manager? I would be pissed as well.
