I saw this at my local Aldi’s today. Contemplated purchasing, but holding out to see what we get at the baby shower… First time mom here due 7/6. 🙂 Would love other parent’s suggestions on these!
I used my mother in laws over the weekend and really liked it! My son is 10 months old and crawling so it was nice to have a place for him. Her doesn’t have the sun shade though. I went to my Aldi tonight and bought my own. I plan on using it at the beach and on out deck and even in our basement. Aldi is great about returns with a receipt so if you really want one, I recommend buying the Aldi one and keeping the receipt until after your shower. They have limited stock and you can’t beat that price!
How do you hook the net hooks on the pegs at the bottom? We cannot get ours to reach.
we couldn”t get the pegs at the bottom to reach also like another customer had complained ! any suggestions ?
We eventually figured it out! Have one person push down at the top of the six corners (meaning the six joints or corners at the top of the playpen). At the same time, have another person pull down the straps and attach them.
I forgot to mention my mother in law has a different brand and that’s why she doesn’t have the sun shade 🙂

Did anyone purchase this? I did and the corner pull straps don’t even come close to the piece to lock it into place. Wondered if anyone else had this problem too.

If anyone has found an easy way to set this up, PLEASE share! I found using something like a screwdriver to force the new on helps but then it’s almost to take down. Ugh!

I had the same problem (corner straps not long enough to be able to reach lock). I exchanged it for a different box….still same problem. Will be returning this….
I am having the same problem. I will be returning this. I saw one on Amazon that was $40 higher 🙁 . I may try calling the company and seeing if they can make any suggestions before returning this

Can someone please tell me if this can canopy is surpose to cover the entire playpen or just half?
Has anyone figured this thing out? Seems like a manufacturer defect seeing as everyone is having issues and Aldi has now discounted this 35% off.

I just bought one at Aldi at the discount for $39.99. It has the same issue with the straps. But my brother bought the one from Amazon and says it has the same problem and he spent $70 on his! He says he uses it without attaching the straps and it work a just fine, so I say buy the cheap version at Aldi if you can, especially since it comes with the shade! We’re taking ours to the beach next week!
We figured it out. You have to unbutton everything, flip it upside down, then you have to put pressure on the metal part and then it will hook in.
Yup, super easy set up!!! We actually did opposite ends of the straps and only unbuttoned a couple to have the straps reach. Just a little elbow gresse!!!
What about the sunshade? The clips keep popping off. How do you get those to stay on?
