Such a great deal!! We went last Spring on their Bounce Ticket & had an AMAZING time!! Grew up Disney in So Cal & was totally impressed with Busch Gardens. What an incredible multi- generation memory!!! Williamsburg is phenomenal as well!
How neat! SO happy to hear you had such a fun time! I haven’t been there yet with my family but hope to go soon!
What? Ugh. Bought season passes for our 4 day trip in August (works out better money wise). Boy did I wish this has been around sooner!
Is this only for Williamsburg or does it work in Tampa too?
Just Williamsburg.
Any recommendations for reasonably priced hotels in the area?
We have been here multiple times, different hotels. The ones that are inexpensive, probably have a reason, so check them out 1st to make sure you’re ok with what they have to offer. We haven’t found any great deals as they seem to fill up. Good luck!
I highly recommend looking into timeshare offerings to see if they may be an option as there are multiple of these and they are often reasonable for several nights. Vrbo.com, ebay are some places that we have booked through before and no extra room taxes so often the price you pay is it.
I have stayed at the Woodlands Hotel at Colonial Williamsburg a couple of times. It was very good and reasonable (for the area!). Good free breakfast, nice pool and splash area for kids. Walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. I have also stayed at Historic Powhatan Resort. It was also very reasonable. It was a condo with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and living area. The resort also has excellent amenities including a couple of pools, play area, etc. It was about a 15 minute drive from Colonial Williamsburg.
We were just there 2 weeks ago and stayed at Woodlands Hotel and Suites. It was reasonable and very nice. It was also very clean and a lot of amenities.
Here is a Groupon I just found for a hotel in the area:

I am a local. Check out hotels on Newport News, VA. It is the next town over and may be cheaper if you dont mind a 15 min drive in I-64 to get to BG. Williamsburg is really nice, lots to do!
Good timing I was just looking at Busch Gardens. I don’t want to go to Tampa again & this location looks fun!
Great fun, we have done many waterparks and Water Country is one of our favorites!
Aww, that’s great to hear! Thanks for sharing with us Laura!
Don’t forget to go through Ibotta. They have offers from 4-20% off and some extra online shopping bonuses right now!!
I purchased the hopper groupon deal last year and it was fantastic! My boys loved it. There is a great indoor laser tag nearby that my boys still rave about! Ready to go back
Is this considered a “get away”? If so, Ibotta cash back is not valid on it.
Grt deal…thanks!!
Are there any other places around the area to check out specially for kids??
My boys are in their teens so we did the laser tag twice, putt putt and go carts. We also went downtown Williamsburg to check out the historical sites. They had a blast!
Thanks a lot:)
The Jamestown Settlement (Living History Museum – not the National Park) is amazing! Highly recommend. Our kids are ages 6&7 and we’re in the younger side but loved seeing history come to life. Colonial Williamsburg is incredible as well!
Thankyou 🙂
Woohoo! Big summer getaway planning has started! Thank you, Hip2Save! We just purchased our first camper and can’t wait to make memories with our babies! Next stop, Williamsburg, VA!
How exciting! You are SO very welcome! Hope you have an awesome trip!
This is a great deal! You can also look into air bnb for accommodations. Food is also easily accessible..there is a pizza hut and taco bell so close by.
Is this a groupon or Groupon getaway bc both are 6 percent back on ebates but as separate categories
I just did the ebates. eBates regular group on not getaway is 6 percent back. It worked as I already got cash back. Thank you hip 2 save!!!!
You’re so welcome!
Anyone ever RV camp in the area? We are planning a last minute trip and looking for a centralized campground for the area with Big rig sites.
