If they are BOGOFREE 50% off, wouldn’t one be 1.99 and one be .99?
They ring up as the regular price first. So the first deodorant is $3.99 then the second is half off at $1.99. Then the in ad store coupon is applied which deducts $1.99 per deodorant. Effectively making the first $1.99 and the second free. – $0.99 each.
Great this is the only deodorant I can use .

I think it says $1.99 each not $1.99 off
The coupon takes $1.99 off the $3.99 price to make the first one $1.99. It also takes $1.99 off the 2nd one but since it’s half off already it would be free so you’re only paying $1.99 for both of them. I hope this helps!
